Last week Prof. Vierling treated the Vierling Lab to a Hawk Experience by New England Falconry (newenglandfalconry.com<\/a>). The hawks certainly were well trained and by the end of the session most of the lab members had the correct arm motions down too. The first part of the program was all about birds of prey and during the second part of the program the falconer took the birds to the field and we each got to inspect the birds up close.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
