Visiting Associate Professor
Investigating heat tolerance phenotypes of Arabidopsis plants carrying mutations in different small HSP genes. Special focus on growth and photosynthetic parameters. Also breeding tomatoes to develop enhanced root stock to support higher yield under elevated temperatures and pathogen stress. This project involves crossing major commercial cultivars with wild species selected for high temperature resistance.
