Working to understand nitric oxide (NO) signaling in plants by studying the regulation of GSNOR, S-nitrosoglutathione reductase, which regulates NO levels. My work aims to validate protein-protein interactions with GSNOR using bimolecular fluorescence complementation (BiFC) methodology. I have focused on thioredoxins (TRX), a class of redox proteins, as potential interactors with GSNOR. I am also working to purify GSNOR protein to perform further tests to validate GSNOR-protein interactions. .
