This award is given to the BMB major who has shown leadership, initiative and a demonstrated strength in working well with others. BMB faculty and staff very much appreciate your contributions to the Department, from your ready availability to promote the Department to prospective students/families, to your organization of a hands-on experience for kids during Homecoming and your superb leadership of the Biochem Club. Your enthusiasm for biochemistry and research combined with your poise in a group
and extraordinary time management skills make you a natural leader. You lead by example, spurring others to participate and contribute. You represent the best qualities of an undergraduate, and we are proud to have you as one of our majors.
