Jesse Arsonault is hired for summer internship at Biogen

Jesse has been granted a full-time internship opportunity from June – August 2017. Biogen describes the internship as follows:

During this internship, the candidate will strive to advance understanding of inhibition of a small molecule drug target. This project will involve expressing recombinant protein in insect cells using baculoviral infection. The protein will be purified using various methods including affinity purification, ion exchange chromatography, and size exclusion chromatography. Purified protein will be analyzed using a variety of biophysical methods including ITC, DSF, SPR, and x-ray crystallography with support and training from the Physical Biochemistry team.
