Vierling Undergraduates Awarded Research Funding
Nora Haggarty and Prem Patel were each awarded money from the UMass Honors Research Assistant Fellowship Program. This award helps to fund their student experiments under the close guidance of Prof. Vierling.
Astha Parmar received an Honors Research Grant which supports her own research project under the guidance of Prof. Vierling. As part of this process, Astha will gain experience with the stages of research grant application, including writing a grant proposal, developing a budget, and creating an abstract. Astha will present her research at the annual Massachusetts Undergraduate Research Conference.
