Girls Inc. Comes to Campus

On Tuesday, November 3rd Girls Inc. from Holyoke came to the UMASS campus and shadowed UMASS women in STEM.  The girls attended one class, toured their UMASS student’s lab and ate lunch in Worcester Dining Hall.  The Holyoke girls said that this experience will help them better think about what kind of college experience they want.  They were also surprised by how different high school is and they’re looking forward to having more choices in college.  The UMASS women were excited to inspire the next generation of college students.
